Hi, I’m Emily Niemeyer, MA, LBA, BCBA.
Restore Behavioral Health & Wellness is both a practice and a deep reflection of what I believe in. I’m here to partner with others to work on significant change for the individual, led by a commitment to quality care, innovation and palpable results.
I am a clinical behavior analyst and specialize in the implementation of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for a range of behavioral needs.
A Word From Emily
Are you looking for a change?
Perhaps it’s something you can clearly name.
You may feel burned out, depleted, or flattened by the pace and demands of life. Joy may feel inconsistent or out of reach. There may be something specific you’ve tried to change, but despite effort, it hasn’t resolved in a lasting way. You may feel pulled toward something more—unrealized dreams, a different way of living—but unsure how to move toward it.
Or it may be less defined. You just know that change is needed.
Grounded in Behavioral Science…
My approach is rooted in the evidence-based frameworks of behavioral science & shaped by a deep respect for the complexity of being human. Rather than focusing on diagnoses or fixed categories, we look carefully at patterns—how your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, physiology, and environment interact. This lens allows us to move beyond insight alone and into targeted, meaningful change.
Together, we identify what is currently maintaining the patterns you feel stuck in—and we begin to shift them.
This is practical, intentional work.
It involves developing a refined awareness of your present-moment experience, while also building the capacity to act in ways that are aligned with your values, even when it’s uncomfortable to do so. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) informed interventions are central to this process. They offer a powerful framework for increasing psychological flexibility—helping you relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions, in the service of steadily moving toward a life that feels purposeful and self-directed. It’s a behavioral process and It has been pivotal not only in my clinical work with others, but in my own life as well.
Because I believe that change should be supported holistically, we also attend to the body. Incorporating elements of somatic awareness, we work to reduce chronic stress patterns and restore a sense of steadiness and regulation—supporting change that is not just understood, but felt.
The work I do offers an alternative to traditional therapy by taking a behavioral perspective—one that is both rigorous and expansive. At its core, it is about developing an honest, comprehensive understanding of yourself in context, and using that understanding to alter behaviors that don’t serve you and build a life organized around meaning, purpose, and wellbeing.
The outcome is not simply relief. It is a reorientation.
A more grounded and coherent relationship with yourself—your thoughts, your emotions, your actions. Greater consistency between what you value and how you live. A sense of integrity, stability, and connection in your daily life.
Whether you are navigating a specific challenge or moving through a broader season of change, this work is designed to help you move through it with intention—and to emerge with greater alignment with yourself, meaningful pursuits and, of course, wellbeing.
